On December 8th 1980 John Lennon woke to Beautiful morning. Typically he would oversee his son's Seans breakfast, while pounding back a cappuccino and smoking his gutains cigarettes. Today was different as John has an appointment with Annie Leibovitz, the famous photographer. John went to Veez A Veez for a haircut and the to the Cafe Fortuna for a cappacino.  The last interview John Lennon would ever give was done at 1 pm in studio 1 for a San Franciscan DJ Dave Sholin.  When 5 O`Clock rolled around John and Yoko went to the Record Plant studio to finish mixing Yoko`s single walking on thin ice. On the way to the Limousine John was stopped by a pudgy little man who shoved an album cover towards him (Double Fantasy) John signed the album and asked...is that all you want? The event was captured by photographer Paul Goresh and later splashed on every newspaper in the country..maybe the world. By 10:30 John and Yoko were leaving the Record Plant for home, Yoko suggested stopping for dinner at the Stage Deli but John wanted to see his son before he went to sleep. At 10:50 the limousine pulled up in front of the Dakota and Yoko exited the vehicle followed by John Lennon. Yoko passed the assassin and John soon followed,  the assassin then assumed a combat stance and pulled out a snub nose 38. He fire 5 shots ( hollow point shells) two bullets passed through his back puncturing a lung, one bullet shattered his left shoulder bone and the fourth bullet hit the left shoulder blade but ricocheted into his chest severing an aorta and cutting his windpipe, the fifth bullet missed and shattered a window.. Never the less Lennon was able to climb up 5 stairs and collapse on the floor of the Dakota's office.  Police arrived at the scene and transported him to the Roosevelt Hospital where he was pronounce dead. John Lennon had lost 3 quarts or 80% of his blood.
