Darby Crash was the punk singer for the band The Germs. Darby craved fame and sought it out at every turn. On December 7th 1980 Darby Crash overdosed on heroin, some believed it was an attempt at rock imortality. Unfortunately the next day was the assasination of John Lennon and Darby Crash was pushed out of the spotlight.
