One of the most famous Rock and Roll curses is the Buddy Holly curse. Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper died in a plane crash in 1959. The list of musicians that have met a similar fate, which have a connection to Buddy Holly is remarkable, of course coincidence is a funny thing. Here is a link
